Look@Landingpages: Quick Start Guide!
A quick overview of what you need to start making more money with Look@Landingpages:
- a free zanox account with active partnerships and Look@Landingpages enabled (apply here).
- a free Google Adwords account to buy traffic.
- the Adwords Editor, a free tool to handle your AdWords account with (download it here).
- MS Excel 2000 or better
- and a landingpage / website. (this is optional)
What you basically have to do is adding zanox tracking links to your AdWords campaigns which lead to your landingpages. Users will click on the advertisement at Google, visit your page, ideally click on your partnerlink and buy in the merchant’s shop. Look@Landingpages tracks this information and presents it to you online. No installation of landmarks, scripts or similar stuff is needed.
Follow these steps to start keyword tracking with Look@Landingpages:
- Select the tab “Look@Landingpages” in the zanox interface.
- Add your AdWords account name and password.
- Select one or more campaigns you wanna enable landingpage tracking.
- Wait for API to synchronize your campaign information.
- Download the “LinkGenerator” excel file.
- Create tracking links for all your keywords and adtexts.
- Paste them into AdWords Editor and upload all changes.
- Now go to Link Administration in Look@Landingpages interface to refresh your campaigns.
That’s it. If you see a green lamp (indicating all your campaigns have correct tracking links), you’re done. Learn more about link administration in our video tutorials.
Now run your AdWords campaigns for a while. Look@Landingpages checks all campaigns for changes several times a day. If you add new keywords or adtexts don’t forget to add tracking links as described above. Every night we update all cost-related data from Google AdWords.
Look@Landingpages shows you performance data of your campaigns online, very similar to the well-known AdWords interface. There you see the number of clicks, CPC, Bids and Position of your Ads.
The big difference is: Look@Landingpages also shows information about click-outs on zanox links, number of transactions, commissions and of course the profit (or loss) of every single keyword!
