A hint of Oktoberfest in Silicon Valley

Posted by Alexandra Lilienthal in Events, October 2nd, 2009

Yesterday the PlugandPlay Expo one of the key events in the Silicon Valley took place at the PlugandPlayTechCenter.
With more than 40 start-up pitches and over 60 venture capital companies the event was a great success. Ad Parlor, Wild Fire and Twiki were nominated the top 3 start-ups of the day. Hosting key notes from HP and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, our CEO Thomas Hessler also gave a speech on the zanox Application Store.
Later zanox hosted a German-style Oktoberfest including German beer, sausages and pretzels. Expecting about 350 people yet over 500 people showed up.
Keep your eyes and ears open for our upcoming events in Silicon Valley.
