On 1st September, our Nordics team brought together over 150 fashion and retail professionals to the beautiful Operaterrassen in the heart of Stockholm for their Expert Day.
Valuable industry insights were shared by Country Manager Tim Lomborg, Panagora.se, Zalando and ad4mat. Global Project Manager Florian Wallner also took to the stage to share insights from our customer journey reports. Read the recap here and watch a video of the event here.

For the first time, the DACH team hosted an Expert Day for the Swiss market. The event took place in Zurich at the Sonnenberg Convention Centre, the former FIFA headquarters, complete with a spacious sun terrace where guests could enjoy a picturesque backdrop of the city.
Country Manager Martin Riess kicked off the day with insights from our recently launched mobile performance barometer, showcasing Switzerland having the highest AOV on mobile devices compared to larger European countries. Speakers from the IAB, ad4mat, Swisscom and Visit Switzerland also provided different perspectives on the Swiss market.
Following a speed networking session, Melani Kumaladewi and Niels de Groot from our Global Publisher Team hosted an interactive social media workshop. The three key takeaways were: find the right channels, create engaging content and measure and evaluate. Check out the full highlights here.

On 20th September, zanox Brazil partnered with the Cnova Group (one of the biggest retail group in Brazil, including advertisers such as Casas Bahia, Ponto Frio and Extra) for a workshop with top publishers. During the workshop, publishers had the opportunity to review statistics from the year so far, check out plans for Black Friday and discuss strategies for 2017.
The next day our team took part in Congresso E-commerce Brasil Gestão, an important event dedicated to e-commerce management, where they were able to meet potential partners.

Our Italian team had to dress the part last month, as Fashion Week returned to Milan. They put together a dedicated newsletter for their publishers so that they could easily find advertisers to promote and make the most of the period. And just in time for the most important fashion event of the year, unisex fashion retailer Terranova launched on our network. Learn more about their programme here.
Last but not least our Italian colleagues hosted not one but three of their colleagues from the London and Berlin offices for our zanox exchange programme. Each year, we offer the opportunity for our team to work in another office for two weeks of knowledge sharing, learning new cultures and team bonding. All three colleagues were warmly welcomed by the Italian team and came back with new ideas for their offices, as well as a little rounder from all of the delicious Italian cuisine!
