Beginning immediately, our user interface offers a new tool for end customer deals. Whether you are an advertiser, agency or one of our publishers, this will provide you with improved functions and simplify tasks for both sides.
What’s different for advertisers?
For advertisers, there was previously a single promotions tool, through which publishers were informed about publisher deals and end customer deals. In the future, this tool will be split into two separate fields, in order to improve clarity:
- NEW: “Incentives” for end customer deals, e.g. coupons, sales/ bargains, raffles and lotteries, free delivery, etc.
- As before: “Promotion news” to announce publisher deals, such as, e.g. publisher races, new payment models, new ad media, etc.
With the new “incentives” tool, advertisers can provide their publishers with all relevant information regarding end customer deals in an improved, clearer form. Depending on the type of deal, it is also possible to transmit important additional information. Among others, this includes:
- Suitable ad media for the respective offer, inclusive of tracking links
- Requirements for the offer, e.g. minimum order value for the redemption of coupons or deals for new customers only etc.
- Besides the end customer text, which will be precisely transferred into the ad spaces, it is also possible to transmit additional internal handling notes for the publishers
And that’s not all! There will soon also be a facility for providing end customer deals exclusively to selected publishers.
Advertisers will find the new tool in the “Ad media manager” field, under the menu item “Incentives”. To begin with, this will only be available in English; however, other languages will be released at the beginning of next year.


What’s in it for publishers:
Publishers can automatically retrieve end customer offers via an interface, filter them by category and incorporate them directly into ad spaces. In doing so, these offers can appear on the relevant ad spaces much more quickly.
You can access the data via our new publisher API. To use this, publishers need to create their API keys in http://apps.zanox.com. The format is XML, JSON or SOAP.
