Marketplace Update: Single User Accounts

We are improving the way you login and manage users in the zanox Marketplace, by introducing single user accounts. This means that you will be able to easily and securely manage all of your accounts using just one login.

You will no longer need to share your login credentials and are able to login using your own email address and password. What’s more, you’ll be able to add as many advertiser or publisher accounts to your user account as you like. Users with access to an account can then easily invite others to join that account. Promote your Affiliate Programme with zanox Public Profiles & Advertiser Directory

We’re excited to bring you our new public advertiser profiles and Advertiser Directory! This will help you to further promote your programme and allow publishers to easily browse through programmes available on the zanox network.

Hosted within the zanox marketplace, profiles act as a platform for advertisers to showcase the highlights of their brand and programme to publishers, to help facilitate new partnerships. The public profiles will be hosted on the Advertiser Directory, a new section on the zanox corporate website allowing publishers to browse the profiles, even if they’re not signed up to the network.

How to manage your publisher applications best

As an advertiser, many publishers apply to your programme on a daily basis. To ensure you accept all valuable partners and don’t dismiss any for the wrong reasons, we have put together a short ‘how to’ guide on reading the application page with all its information. This way you can easily decide which publishers are a perfect match to boost your programme. If you are still uncertain about particular applications, we are here to support you.

Under ‘Affiliate’ you find the following information:

 

1. Publisher name

2.  This publisher is a zanox VIP publisher, who adheres to zanox quality standards and the zanox code of conduct. You can accept this publisher instantly.
This label is limited to a small group of publishers. Publishers without the VIP logo can still be valuable partners.

3. ‘Profile’: This leads you to the publisher profile, where you can find all relevant information about the publisher:

  • Contact data

  • Advertiser references

  • Publisher description

  • Additional ad spaces of the publisher

  • If applicable: social media profiles, publisher blog

4. ‘Settings’: In this area you can allocate conditions on ad media and send emails to this partner via the zanox marketplace.

5.  Here zanox account managers only can add information on the publisher. This is relevant as this might allow you to receive additional information to what the publisher is providing.

6. This icon is shown when the publisher’s ad space is classified as TPV enabled by a zanox employee. This usually applies to display and retargeting publishers. Accepting this publisher into your programme does not automatically enable the publisher for postview. You will need to confirm if you want to allow this partner as a TPV partner in a second step by adding them to the TPV group under ‘settings’. This group automatically appears under your group settings, when you have TPV tracking enabled.
Tip: review all rejected partners under the post view criteria – you may find some rare diamonds.

7.  Ad space URL: This shows the ad space of the publisher and links directly to it.

8.  The publisher ad space is a verified ad space. This proves that the publishers owns the stated ad space.

9. This information is filled in by the publishers when they apply to your programme. Review this to learn more about the ambitions, ideas and questions a publisher might have in regards to your programme.

10. (not shown in screenshot): This includes additional information provided by the publisher about his ad space and business model in general.

If you take all this information into account when reviewing your publisher applications, you are perfectly set to make a proper decision on the application. When in doubt please align with the publisher directly. They are generally more than happy to share more information about their business model. Of course your zanox contact is also at your disposal.

Get our updated Publisher iOS App – now showing your top-earning programmes

Over the last few months, we’ve been improving our iOS publisher statistics app. You can now track your top campaigns using our new programmes feature, showing earnings for your top-performing programmes over the last seven days. This is in addition to the features the app already offers:

  • Login to all your accounts in one place

  • Check your earnings over last 30 days with an intuitive graph

  • See the last sales and leads this month

  • Up to date account balances

Publisher Invitation Links – recruit publishers for your programme

Hello advertisers, do you want to recruit more relevant publishers for your programme? With the new publisher invitation links you can do this with ease. Invite interesting partners via the zanox marketplace or recruit publishers via your website by implementing a permanent invitation link on your website/ affiliate marketing landing page.

Once a publisher clicks on your invitation link, they are able to view your zanox marketplace profile without being logged in. In a second step, they can either login and apply to your programme or register with zanox where they are automatically applied to your programme. Make sure your profile is updated and appealing.

New at zanox: Click Error Report for publishers

Imagine if an advertiser deactivated their ad media or closed their programme. If you don’t adjust your links accordingly, visitors clicking on that link will end up on a dead page and you will miss out on potential earnings. To avoid this, we have launch the Click Error Report, a solution to easily find out if and where you have broken links implemented.

In the Click Error Report you can find a detailed overview of:

  • All broken links per ad space that still generates traffic

  • Where broken links are implemented

  • What is the cause of the broken link

As an advertiser you can now benefit from industry-specific product data. You have the ability to publish additional details about your products based on the industry you are operating in:

  • Retail & Shopping: Color, material, size, gender, etc.

  • Travel: Destination, travel type, price per person, etc.

  • Telco: Subscription SMS, subscription minutes, operating system, etc.

Industry-specific product data feeds make the difference

Our updated, industry-specific product data feeds allow you – especially as a comparison publisher – to set-up better categorisation and search capabilities with ease. The  additional information in the product data feeds includes individual, industry-specific columns in addition to the standard set (price, URL, image, etc.):

  • Retail & Shopping: Color, material, shipping cost, size, gender, etc.

  • Travel: Destination, travel type, price per person, etc.

  • Telco: Subscription SMS, operating system, etc.

  •  Events & Tickets: Event name, event city, artist, event start time, event duration, etc.

In order to benefit from the additional information industry-specific data feeds provide, please proceed as shown below to generate new download URLs. For CSV feeds, please select the columns you wish to retrieve. industryspecific-data-feeds In case you do not have time to update this information right away, your download URLs for product data feeds will remain valid for the coming months.
