New publisher statistics with charts

Posted by Ines Ackermann in Publisher News, Statistics, April 29th, 2009

Once again our new publisher statistics will be enhanced by a very fancy feature, literally visualising the generated reports: the graphic charts.

With this advanced new feature you can comfortably visualise sales, leads and commissions and get a much better feeling for trends and tendencies than just by numbers. Due to different chart designs (bar or pie) you have the possibility to visualise a report’s numbers just the way you need it. Apart from that you can individually define the parameters for x/y-axes or the measures of a pie diagram. In case of the bar chart it is even possible to define a second y-axis creating a direct comparison between two values. Additionally to displaying the whole report, the tool also offers the visualisation of single table pages, generating a better overview for special sections of the report.

New publisher statistics show original currency

Posted by Ines Ackermann in Publisher News, Statistics, March 25th, 2009

You may have noticed that we are continuously working on the improvement of our new zanox publisher statistics. Now we have another feature, particularly exciting for our international publishers: the statistics display the original currencies in which a transaction was tracked.

Up until now all ‚commission’ columns of a report table had been displayed with a selected “display currency”. Other currencies had been re-calculated into this. But this way of dealing with currencies has its disadvantages – especially for international publishers: Due to daily exchange rates the original amount of a transaction could not be tracked. With last weeks’ release of our new publisher statistics there is now an additional column connected with a certain ‚commission’ column – showing the corresponding amount in the original (tracked) currency as well, when grouped by “currency”.

Even more improvements in new publisher statistics

Posted by Ines Ackermann in Publisher News, Statistics, February 26th, 2009

Great news for our publishers: Yet another enhanced version of the new zanox publisher statistics is online. With release 0.3.0 we improved performance of the statistics and implemented some more helpful features, such as the sorting on lower table levels: Until now only a global sorting on the main grouping level was offered. With the new feature you are able to sort the first and second drill down independently from the global sorting – therewith you have one more striking possibility of analyzing your numbers. More information is available in our Wiki.

zanox kicks-off new generation of publisher statistics

Posted by Valerie Ponell in Publisher News, Statistics, December 15th, 2008

It’s been only a few months since we first announced the start of the closed beta phase for our new generation of publisher statistics. We promised a whole bunch of new functionalities which will make it easier for you, our publishers, to monetise your websites’ traffic. And of course we keep our promises and are proud to say: here they are!

With the launch of the open beta phase, we now offer you a wide range of new convenient analysis and control tools. The essence of what you can now benefit from is full flexibility in whatever you do! You are now able to freely create your own custom report templates by picking and mixing from a wide selection of reporting elements and parameters. And no, you don’t have to do this every time you log-on to get your reports – you can save your customised templates and even export everything to Excel. Of course you are still free to choose from more than a dozen of pre-arranged templates based on most common publisher use cases. This saves you even more time and effort and gets you detailed insight as to how your programmes and advertising spaces are performing. Once logged-in, it just takes you two clicks to access any of your reports. And here are some screenshots so you can take a first look:

And by the way, this is just the first bunch of new functionalities that come with our publisher statistics – basically the kick-off of a whole series of efficient reporting tools which are created to make your life easier. We are working hard to provide you with more functionalities and will implement them one by one. So soon you will be able to include graphs and images, set up asynchronous reports or receive automated reports on a regular basis.

We are more than keen on hearing what you think of our new publisher statistics. Three of our German closed beta testers, the team Karsten Windfelder/Frank Schulze and Markus Kellermann, already blogged about their experiences: Frank Schulze published a detailed review on Karsten Windfelder’s blog 100partnerprogramme.de. “The new statistics are well thought out and clearly arranged. The functional enhancement was successful and the filter functionalities allow a lot of flexibility,” Frank says. Markus writes on his Affiliate Marketing Blog: “The statistics are dynamic. You can adjust them in many ways, create your own report screens and save them.” You can read Frank’s and Karsten’s full review here and Markus’ article here (both in German).

Let us know what you think and we’ll be happy to discuss and answer your questions. We are looking forward to your comments and hope you will enjoy exploring the new generation of publisher statistics!
